Troop 449 in Renton, WA offers boys age 11-18 the opportunity to participate in Scouting activities and achievements through outdoor activities.

It is our goal to work with young men to build character through Scouting by instilling the ethics and ethos of the Scout Laws and oath. By living and learning these key concepts while participating in outdoor activities help build leadership skills that are valuable in all facets of life, both now as they grow and in the future as leaders of the community.

Each Scout’s journey in Scouting is personal and contributes to his development as a young man. In our Troop we challenge our Scouts to achieve as much as possible, but rely on the Scouts themselves to work towards whatever personal goals they set for themselves.

As a Scout led troop, Scouts work together to plan and achieve success on outings, in achievements, and in positions of leadership.
